Grady Martin joined the Sullivan & Barros team in 2023 as a paralegal. He provides support with paralegal, practice management, and administrative work within the firm’s Real Estate Transactional, Business Law and Litigation Practice Group. Since joining the team, Grady has worked on dozens of real estate transactions totaling in more than $200 million of value. He regularly manages closing checklist submissions, prepares closing calendars, reviews title and survey materials, prepares title and survey requirements letters, reviews and abstracts due diligence materials, prepares organizational resolutions, and prepares simple amendments to operating agreements and assignments of contracts. On the litigation team, he often prepares discovery requests, subpoenas, drafts consent motions, and prepares exhibits and affidavits. He is also a core member of our trial prep team.

Prior to joining Sullivan & Barros, Grady graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia with a degree in Philosophy and Political & Social Thought. At UVA, he directed the Student Legal Services Center, where he oversaw the provision of free legal representation to over 600 students. He also served as president of the charitable organizations Unsung People and Competitive Speech and Debate at UVA. He will be attending Yale Law School in the Fall.
