Norma Barros is the Director of Case Management and provides paralegal support for the Litigation, Business Law, Condominium, HOA, Real Estate Development, Acquisitions, Finance and Leasing practice areas at Sullivan & Barros, LLP. Norma is responsible for managing all business aspects of the practices under her purview.

Norma also assists counsel in forming condominium associations and HOAs, and has assisted in forming condominium associations and HOAs containing hundreds of condominium units and townhouses throughout the District of Columbia. She provides litigation paralegal support on all litigation matters before the courts, including managing discovery requests, handling complex real estate litigation matters, and preparing deposition exhibits and trial exhibits. Norma assists counsel in numerous large and small business acquisitions by providing due diligence management and closing support. She provides paralegal support to counsel for commercial loan and acquisition closings. In her various roles, Norma routinely interfaces with courts, governmental boards, departments and agencies, clients, her counterparts on transactions and in litigation and attorneys in the firm in order to meet client objectives effectively and timely.

Before joining Sullivan & Barros, LLP, Norma worked in the multi-family property management field for over 10 years at a number of national and regional operators in Chicago, IL, Dublin, OH, Columbus, OH, and Alexandria, VA. She sold new homes for a regional home builder in Indiana as part of a 60-person sales team where she was the number 2 highest producer on that team for two consecutive years before the Great Recession. Norma’s extensive knowledge in the property management field, in real estate sales, and in all of the interconnected practice areas she manages and supports in the firm — as well as her strong desire to provide exceptional results — are key factors that contribute to the superior service Norma provides the firm’s clientele.
