Lydia Watts joined the Sullivan & Barros team in the Spring of 2025 as a Legal Assistant and Assistant Practice Manager for the real estate transaction and litigation practice group.

As a Legal Assistant, Lydia’s responsibilities include assisting with case preparation, eFiling, managing client documents and communication, scheduling, supporting transactional closings, preparing condominium registration binders, coordinating issuance of Subpoenas, and providing support to the attorneys and the senior paralegal. As Assistant Practice Manager, Lydia supports the Practice Manager and Chief Operating Officer. She assists with coordinating attorney-client meetings and correspondence, processing mail, coordinating office operations, preparing monthly productivity reports, and assisting with the new client intake process.

Lydia graduated with Highest Distinction from American University in Spring of 2025 with a BA in Justice, Law, and Criminology and a Minor in Communication. Prior to Sullivan & Barros, Lydia has worked in the Non-Profit and Journalism industries. Lydia is well-travelled, completing a month-long solo trip and visiting twenty-seven cities and six countries during her time abroad in Greece.

Lydia’s interests lie in criminal justice, as she plans to attend law school in 2027. In her free time, Lydia enjoys reading, cooking, and trying out new restaurants.
